A group of Book Sprints facilitators and researchers interested and at the same time familiar with this method of collaborative writing recently gathered for a Book Sprint on Book Sprints.
Its result is a book, which offers an insight into the background and methods of Book Sprints, as well as reflections on the position of this approach within a broader context of publishing and collaborative knowledge production.
In the introduction the authors state:
“It provides a reflection on the practice itself. In this way, it contributes to wider discussions about the changing structure of “The Book”, about the circulation of knowledge and material conditions of production.”
